The recent conclusion of the 67th Annual Grammy Awards which saw Tems‘ ‘Love Me Jeje’ as the winner of the Best African Music Performance Category, has led to various discussions online.
Fans of the various other artists nominated for the category have either congratulated Tems on her win or contested the Grammy’s decision.
Die-hard fans have gone as far as hating on the artist, saying that the event was rigged and she was undeserving of the award.
However, unlike the fans, the artists themselves have either remained silent or like in the case of Davido, gone a step further to congratulate Tems on her win.
Davido after the event posted on his Instagram story a video of Tems accepting the award with the caption.
“Congrats Queen! @temsbaby @donawon !!”
He also congratulated American artist Christbrown as the both of them along with Lojay had been nominated for the category with the song “Sensational”
Fans of the artist have praised him for showing maturity and gracefully accepting his loss, calling him “the winner in their hearts”.
