Snoop Dogg and Billie Eilish Set to Perform at Olympic Closing Ceremony

 

Hip hop legend Snoop Dogg, pop artist Billie Eilish, and famous rock band the Red Hot Chili Peppers are expected to play at the Paris Olympic Games Closing Ceremony on Sunday, Variety is reporting. According to a source published on August 8, the three artists will participate in the handover of the Summer Olympic Games from Paris to Los Angeles, California, in a mix of pre-recorded and live performances.

According to Variety, Tom Cruise, a prominent Hollywood actor, will perform a stunt during the closing ceremony. After Sunday’s Closing Ceremony, Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass will take the Olympic Torch and carry it home from Paris. The city will host the 2028 Summer Olympics.

 Snoop Dogg, Billie Eilish, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers are all Los Angeles natives. Snoop carried the Olympic Torch before the opening ceremony of the Paris Games.
