Nigerians are calling out Carter Efe for claiming ownership of a song that he didn’t write.
For weeks now, Carter Efe has been trending on Twitter following the song, ‘Machala’ he allegedly he wrote for Wizkid. Carter in all his interviews said he wrote the song because of the love he has for Wizkid. He also revealed that Wizkid is yet to reach out to him, but he doesn’t mind.
Less than 24 hours after he said this in an interview with Ebuka, Berri Tiga, his friend stated that he wrote and sang Machala 100%. According to him, he is tried of fans asking If he wrote the song or not. Berri said he wants Carter Efe to tell people the truth and give him the fame he deserves.
Twitter users wasted no time in commenting on the issue. Many believe Carter Efe is being selfish and he should give Berri Tiga his share. Others said Carter Efe should have just bought the song from Berri to avoid the ongoing Wahala.
