Actress Tonto Dikeh has opened up on how she lived and grew up in the village before she decided to join the movie industry.
The mother of one added that she misses the village life, the process of making cassava into garri and playing with her grandmother.
She said: “I miss the process of making cassava into garri, I miss the village life. Lived and grew up in my village till I joined the movie industry. One thing I miss is being earthly, I miss spooking granny and making her chase me with a broom in one hand and a snack in the other.”
Born into a family of seven from Obio-Akpor in Rivers State, the 36-year-old lost her mother when she was three years old. She was raised by her late stepmother.
