Former lawmaker, Senator Shehu Sani on Wednesday, condemned the attack on Yelwa Zangwam community in Jos, Plateau State.
Recall that bandits in a large number stormed Zangwam community in Jos North on Tuesday evening, and killed 35 innocent souls.
They burnt houses and wounded several others.
Following the killings and destructions of property by the suspected bandits, Senator Shehu Sani, who represented Kaduna Central Senatorial District in the red chamber, wrote on his verified Facebook wall on Wednesday, condenming the attack.
He said, “The report that terrorists invaded the Yelwa Zangwam community in the Jos North LG yesterday by 8pm and massacred about 35 people is tragic and condemnable.
“Authorities must wake up and urgently bring an end to these atrocities.The perpetrators of this heinous act must be brought to book.
“Whatever is your religious faith or ethnic identity, killing of innocent lives should be morally denounced, rebuked and condemned.”
