Igbere TV reports that Nollywood actor Alexx Ekubo has bought a Toyota Venza for his mother on Independence Day.
The first runner-up at the 2010 Mr Nigeria contest shared a video on Instagram to show his excited mother receiving the car.
“To celebrate my chieftaincy, I surprised my mum with a little gift, thank you mum for the constant prayers, it’s working. I Love you forever & a day mum,” he wrote.
Alexx Ekubo, 34, was decorated as Ikuku of Amumara Town, Mbaise, Imo State on September 20 at the just-concluded New Yam Festival, Igbere TV reports.
Actor Zubby Michael was part of attendees at the ceremony.
