We Played Exceptional Football Against A Team In Form – Jurgen Klopp Reacts After Liverpool Beat Arsenal

Liverpool boos, Jurgen Klopp has reacted to to the amazing victory of Liverpool against Arsenal. According to Klopp it was a great win as they played exceptional football against a team in form. He said it was top performance match for his team and he loved it.

The statement was made after the match as Liverpool saw off Arsenal 3-1 in a typically entertaining clash between the pair. Alexandre Lacazette gave the Gunners a surprise lead, but the Reds were too strong as strikes from Sadio Mane, Andy Robertson and Diogo Jota secured all three points.

Sadio Mane escaped a red card and then scored to help maintain Liverpool’s 100 per cent start to their Premier League title defence.

Mane was fortunate to get away with just a yellow card from referee Craig Pawson when he caught Kieran Tierney with his left elbow in the opening minutes. Andy Robertson also had a mixed night for Liverpool and he was at fault for Arsenal’s opener before he netted the winner.

Robertson made a mistake to gift Alexandre Lacazette the first goal and he made amends three minutes later to tuck home Liverpool’s second goal.

Diogo Jota came off the bench to wrap up victory for Liverpool two minutes from time on his Premier League debut for the Anfield outfit. The Reds also had Alisson to thank for their third straight win of the campaign and he made a fine save to deny Lacazette when he was clean through at 2-1.
