Southern Kaduna killings: Why El-Rufai can’t defend you – Reno Omokri

Reno Omokri, a former aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, has downplayed the possibility of Governor Nasir El-Rufai to protect people of Southern Kaduna.

Omokri said expecting protection from El-Rufai is like expecting Satan to protect you from demons.

The former presidential aide made the remark in a tweet via his verified Twitter handle.

He, however, urged people of Southern Kaduna to resort to self-defense, but they should not attack.

“Dear S Kaduna people,

 
“Expecting @Elrufai to protect you from herdsmen, is like expecting Satan to protect you from demons. Article 51 of the @UN Charter gives you a right to self defence. Don’t attack. But if they attack, give them bullet for bullet,” Omokri tweeted.

A recent attack by unknown gunmen had led to the death of about 20 people with several others injured in Southern Kaduna.
