Badaru condoles Jigawa State over demise of first military administrator

The Jigawa State Governor Alhaji Muhammad Badaru Abubakar has condoled with the people of the state and the country at large over the death of the first military administrator in the state, Brigadier General Olayinka Sule, rtd.

Senior Special Assistant to the Executive Governor of Jigawa State on New Media, Auwalu D.Sankara stated this in a statement issued to DAILY POST.

The statement said the death came with a great shock a few days to the 29th anniversary of Jigawa State.

The Governor said the contributions of Mr Olayinka Sule in the development of the state cannot be forgotten in its entire history.
 

He prayed for Allah to forgive the gentle soul of the deceased and give the families the fortitude to bear the loss.

Brigadier General Olayinka Sule, rtd, was the Administrator of Jigawa State, from August 1991 to January 1992 during the military regime of General Ibrahim Babangida.

He handed over to the elected civilian governor Ali Sa’ad Birnin-Kudu in January 1992 at the start of the Nigerian Third Republic.
