COVID-19: Buhari should take over Kano – Deji Adeyanju attacks Ganduje over mysterious deaths

Convener of Concerned Nigerian, Deji Adeyanju, has slammed the Kano State government over reported mysterious deaths in the state.

Adeyanju took to his Twitter page on Sunday morning, calling on the federal government to step in immediately and investigate the deaths in Kano State.

Taking a swipe at Governor Umar Ganduje, the activist said there is no leadership in the state.

His tweet reads: “There’s no leadership in Kano. This is why FG must step in immediately. The guy there only knows one thing: stuffing dollars inside Babariga.

The activist further warned that thousands of residents in Kano might have been infected if Coronavirus is the cause of their deaths.

“The saddest part of the deaths in Kano is that thousands might get infected if it is COVID-19 related as the dead bodies are moved to the cemeteries and no tests were conducted on the corpses.

“Kano should have like three laboratories spread across the state just like Lagos. The population of Kano is over 20 million. “

DAILY POST recalls that reports on Saturday mentioned that twenty prominent residents have dropped dead in the state in the last 24 hours.

There were speculations that some died from Coronavirus, while others may have died of meningitis but residents and government are yet to identify the real cause.
