Actors Guild Of Nigeria Launches Advocacy movie for the Nigeria Army, Unveils Secretariat Plan

The national umbrella for the regulation and representation of affairs of Film -Actors in Nigeria and abroad Actor Guild of Nigeria(AGN), has held the 9th Biennial Lecture and official Launch Ceremony of "Operation Last Dance", an advocacy movie for the Nigeria armed forces. The occasion was held on the 11th of March, 2020 at Ladi Kwali Hall, Sheraton Hotels and Towers, Abuja.

The event of the 9th Biennial Lecture which was themed "The Strategic Role of Nollywood In The Nigeria Economy", also recorded notable activities including Patron's Investiture, Inauguration, Veteran's Honours Award and a Lecture. The occasion also witnessed the distinguished presence of notable personalities with notable portfolios and national relevance.
 


During the event, the President of Actors Guild of Nigeria, Chief Rollas Ejieze honoured and Presented awards to notable celebrity Actors with the Veteran Actors of Nigeria, some of which includes Chief Pete Edochie, Bob Manuel Udokwu, Kanayo O. Kanayo, Zack Orji, amongst others.

Another significant event at the 9th Biennial Lecture of the Actor Guild of Nigeria was the inauguration of the New Patron Forum by the BOT Chairman of AGN, Prince Ifeanyi Dike. Prince Barrister Ned Nwoko was appointed as the Chairman of Forum, with Dr. Suleiman Adejo as the Secretary, including other members which included the Chief Ayim Pius Ayim, Lt General Buratai, Senator Ishiakwu and other outstanding personalities across several sectors of development.

In the course of the event, the national secretariat was officially unveiled with a notable structures accommodating features of a Five Star Hotel, snapping malls, offices, event center cinema halls and others. Awards where also presented by the Actors Guild of Nigeria to distinguished Guests including the CAS as the , Sheikh Ibrahim Ahmed Maqri, Lt Gen. T.Y Buratai, Senator Ifeanyi Uba, amongst other reputable personalities in Nigeria.
