Judge's bizarre warning as he spares from jail married woman, 45

A judge told a married female woman 'no more licking' as she handed her a restraining order for sending explicit messages to a teenage girl and licking her face.

Natalie Cummins, 45, sent the teenager messages on Snapchat and WhatsApp detailing the sex acts she wanted to do with her.

They referred to the pair sharing a bed, kissing, cuddling, among more intimate suggestions, the court heard.

One message read: 'I'm just trying not to be a total paedo,' followed by a laughing emoji, jurors were told.

Cummins, of Boscastle, Cornwall, was caught after a friend of the victim logged on to her social media account and found messages from her, which she sent to the police.

She was found guilty of sexual communication with a child and given a two-year restraining order banning her from contacting the girl, as her husband of 15 years looked on from the public gallery at Truro Crown Court.

Sitting as judge, recorder Jane Rowley today sentenced Cummings to a 12-month community order - and told her 'No more licking' after she denied kissing her victim but admitted to 'licking her face'.

Recorder Rowley said she accepted Cummins' show of shame and remorse and acceptance of responsibility.

'You did impress on me during the course of giving your evidence of being an intelligent and hard working woman, who moved to this area in 2015 and built up what seems to be vibrant business,' Recorder Rowley said.

'You are a much valued member of the community, but your behaviour towards [the victim] did let you down.'
