Katie Price CONFIRMS she's sending son Harvey to residential care

Katie has confirmed she's sending her son Harvey to residential care, in a preview for the series finale of My Crazy Life.

The mother-of-five candidly admitted she 'has no option' but to send Harvey, 16, to the care centre, as she admitted it's 'selfish' of her to keep him at home.

It was previously reported that Katie was considering sending Harvey to a residential care facility, with sources telling MailOnline she would 'always do what's right for her children.'

In the preview, Katie sweetly cuddled Harvey as she spoke to her personal trainer boyfriend Kris Boyson.

The couple were preparing for a trip to Gatwick Airport, to see Harvey's new artwork on display.

As Kris showed his partner an article which claimed Harvey was going into the care facility, the former glamour model admitted: 'I don't want him to go, but the doctors and my mum say it is the best thing for him.'

The star then explained to the camera: 'What they can offer Harvey that I can't, is daily exercise, a food plan, he can't go into the cupboards and eat. He'll socialise with his friends, it's more freedom for him.

'He is 16 and I guess I'm the selfish one because I want to keep him here with me all the time.'

Harvey was born with septo-optic dysplasia, a condition that means the development of his optic nerve was unpredictable.
