EuroMillions winner Adrian Bayford eats up to 50 Cornish pasties a week, has been taunted by locals and rarely leaves his mansion as friends claim he is lonely.
Former postman Adrian, who scooped £148million jackpot in 2012, has reportedly taken to getting gourmet pasties from Cornwall delivered to his mansion every week because they remind of his childhood, according to reports.
Friends claim the lottery winner is isolated and feels he is unlucky in love after a series of failed relationships, The Sun reports.
And the 48-year-old has reportedly paid people to be his friends including his full-time boxing coach and people to drive him around, the newspaper reports.
When Adrian does leave his mansion, he is reportedly goaded by locals who pick fights with him about his wealth.
A barman told newspaper: 'People think it's funny to go up to him when he's having a pint and ask why he's not buying champagne. They try to pick a fight and it works.'
The lottery winner's friends are worried that he is shutting himself off from the world after closing down his music shop and sacking friends that worked there.
Richard Hudspith, who used to run Adrian's record shop, the Suffolk Music Centre, told newspaper: 'He just wants to live a quiet life now.
'The only thing he can do is withdraw and disassociate himself, not necessarily from the outside world, but try to not encourage any interest.'
