Radiant Kate dons a £790 Gucci blouse as she plays with 'diva' twins

The Duchess of Cambridge was seeing double as she came face with two sets of twins on a visit to a children's centre today.

Kate, 37, met 23-month-old 'divas in the making' Kamina and Kashay, alongside Noah and Charlie, 17 months,  during a visit to the Henry Fawcett Centre in Kennington, south London.

The royal mixed high street and high end for the outing, pairing a new £790 Gucci blouse with a favourite pair of £130 high waist trousers by Jigsaw.

But despite wearing an expensive silk shirt, the Duchess was still eager to join in the fun and happily sat and cuddled little ones as they toddled across the soft play mats.

Swapping stories with other parents, Kate revealed her 10-month-old son Louis has started to 'bomb around' in his walker. 'Louis just wants to pull himself up all the time,' she told one mother. 'He has got these little walkers and is bombing around in them.'

The outing comes just a few weeks after the Duchess revealed she was feeling 'broody' while speaking to well-wishers during a visit to Northern Ireland.

Kate was visiting the centre to learn more about support being offered to youngsters and their families through Lambeth Early Action Partnership (LEAP).

The royal looked polished in her new purple Gucci blouse and a pair of trousers from Jigsaw, which she previously wore on a visit to Cyprus in December last year. She accessorised with £510 black suede Gianvito Rossi pumps, £325 sterling silver and white topaz earrings from Links and a £595 handbag by Aspinal of London.

The duchess took part in session of 'Together Time', where parents can come with their children and learn from each other and childcare professionals.

It was, unsurprisingly, noisy but Kate, also mother to George, five, and Charlotte, three, took it all in her stride as she sat down to chat to families who were there about everything from bath time to breast feeding.

She made a beeline from Kriti, who was there with her son Kameron, nine months, immediately asking her how old he was and swapping stories about her youngest, Prince Louis, who is soon to celebrate his first birthday.

Kriti said afterwards: 'She took one look at Kameron and said 'Oh he wants to go walkies'. Apparently her son is cruising (when a child pulls themselves up and uses furniture to move about) and she said she was running after him all the time.'
