Love Island's Kaz Crossley hints at a darker side to split from Josh Denzel.

Love Island star Kaz Crossley has hinted at a darker side to her split from co-star Josh Denzel in a cryptic Instagram post shared on Friday.

The make-up artist, 25, took to her account on Thursday to announce she had parted ways from the sports presenter, 27, shortly before she was criticised by a fan for the style of the break-up - however there appeared to be a deeper meaning. 

Their co-star Ellie Brown hit out at a fan who criticised the duo for their announcement, as she insisted 'people have soooooooo much to say about things', in a message then shared by Kaz.

Ellie wrote: 'No it’s called being mutual in the public eye because a public break up is hard and people have much to say about things they don’t understand... The more positive Kaz and Josh are about each other the healthier it will be for both of them.' 

Kaz then shared the message on her Instagram stories while thanking Ellie, who split from her own villa boyfriend Charlie Brake last year, for her support

In her original announcement, Kaz shared a sweet picture of herself looking loved-up with Josh on their recent holiday to Miami, Florida, and Jamaica.

She captioned it with: 'Sometimes things don’t go the way you planned, but you have to be grateful for the journey. Thank you for everything especially showing me how to love myself again.'
