David Beckham steals a cheeky glance at scantily-dressed cheerleaders

He may have retired from football, but David Beckham is still a massive sports fan. 

And on Wednesday the British star, 43, was spotted enjoying the Los Angeles Lakers vs New Orleans Pelicans basketball game at LA's Staples Center.

Sitting in the best seats in the house, David's courtside position meant he not only got a prime view of LeBron James and co in action, but also the famous cheerleaders. 

David, who has been married to former Spice Girl Victoria for almost twenty years, was seen having a cheeky look at the cheerleaders dressed in their tiny purple outfits as they ran past.

Meanwhile David's best friend Dave Gardner, who is engaged to actress Liv Tyler, took a different tack as he spent a lot of his time engrossed in his phone during the cheer routine. 

The best pals looked like they had the time of their life at the game, with David laughing and sharing jokes with his pals before the Lakers 125 to 119 win. 

It's been a relaxing couple of weeks for David and his family, who recently returned from a half term ski break in the French resort of Saint Gervais.

The doting dad took to Instagram on Tuesday to share a slew of snaps with his children while on the slopes.

The footballer beamed with pride as he cuddled his daughter Harper, seven, on top of a snowy mountain, before taking photos with his sons; Brooklyn, 19, Romeo, 16, Cruz, 14, and wife Victoria, 44.
