Simon Cowell was compared to a Madame Tussauds' waxwork by trolls as he made a boozy departure after Britain's Got Talent filming on Friday. 

The music mogul, 59, showed off his new look when he returned to the London Palladium to shoot for the first day of the ITV talent show.

Keyboard warriors viciously targeted the BGT judge as they claimed his new look was 'fake' and 'weird' while likening him to a waxwork.

'Simon Cowell now looks like the Louis Tussauds version of Simon Cowell.' One fan wrote, leading the troops on social media. 

The television personality joined forces with hosts Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly as well as the judging panel David Walliams, Amanda Holden and Alesha Dixon. 

While troubled star Ant returned to work, fans were distracted by Simon's new look as they took their thoughts to social media.

Another added: 'Been having some work done Simon? @SimonCowell @BGT.' 

'Is that a fake Simon Cowell.' Others remarked. 'Simon's face look weird AF.'

This was backed by more fans, who added: 'What has @SimonCowell done to his teeth?'
