Vicky Pattison has sent a public apology to singer Michelle McManus, who hit out at the reality star on Thursday for body shaming her five years ago.
Michelle's tweet was in response to Vicky's impassioned Instagram posts on Wednesday slamming cruel trolls for mocking her appearance and antics during her sister's wedding this week.
Michelle shared a screenshot of a 2014 MailOnline article where Vicky said 'There's a Michelle McManus inside me dying to get out!' leading Vicky to apologise, insisting 'there a lot of things I did five years ago that I'm not proud of.'
'Yes @vickypattison because you’ve never publicly body shamed anyone have you? Oh wait...' Michelle quipped in her tweet, earning hundreds of likes within minutes.
Vicky has now told MailOnline that she 'cannot apologise enough' for her comments.
‘There are a lot of things I did five years ago that I’m not proud of,' she says. 'And to be honest, I wouldn’t even recognise the girl I was back then.'
'I cannot apologise enough if my comments caused upset or hurt. I can guarantee even then it was not my intention, just my ignorance. I hope you accept my apology‘
Vicky hit back at trolls on Wednesday after she was criticised for her stance in her sister's wedding pictures, following the Mexican nuptials on Tuesday.
The 31-year-old former Geordie Shore star, whose own engagement to John Noble fell apart in November, looked sensational in a stunning midnight blue bridesmaid dress as she posed on the beach yet her positioning was criticised.
