Eagle-eyed Friends fans spot the creepy moment a mask's eyes glow bright red in the background

Friends fans have spotted a creepy shock gaffe in the background of a Season Four classic, where Rachel tries to pass of her sexy lingerie as a new dress.

The episode - which sees Rachel face an awkward encounter with boyfriend Joshua's parents - has a creepy moment when a pair of red eyes appear to glow in the background, before disappearing mere seconds later.

It comes as only the latest blooper to be spotted by die-hard fans of the sitcom as it is streamed on Netflix, after several fans also spotted actor Matt Le Blanc mouthing along with Jennifer Aniston's lines in a clip posted to Twitter. 

In the episode, Rachel is planning the ultimate romantic evening with new love interest Joshua - played by Tate Donovan - but things go pear-shaped when he confesses to having a fear of farm birds.

Rachel's pals Joey and Chandler were of course parents to a pet chick and duck, leading the date to reconvene at Joshua's apartment.

Changing into a sexy negligée, Rachel is ready for her first night with her new man, but the pair are interrupted as Joshua's parents return early from their holiday.

As Rachel attempts to cover herself, a pair of glowing red eyes can be spotted in the background of the scene, but disappear mere seconds later. 

It is something easily missed by many viewers as the scene revolves around Rachel trying to pass off her negligee as a designer frock.
