Burna Boy Slams Coachella For Listing Him With Small Font | ‘I Am An African Giant’

Popular Nigerian Afro-fusion pioneer Burna Boy was on Wednesday, January 2, listed alongside Mr Eazi as part of the lineup for the 2019 Coachella Music Festival.
They are expected to share same stage with the likes of Childish Gambino and Ariana Grande as artistes that will headline the 2019 Coachella, which returns  to the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California from April 12-14 and then for a second weekend from April 19-21.
However, the “Ye” singer, who is unarguably Nigeria’s biggest act of 2018, seems unpleased with the way his name was listed on Coachella’s line-up of 2019 performers.

Shortly after the list was announced, Burna Boy took to his Instastories to express his dissatisfaction with the listing because unlike the big international stars, his name appears below with artistes such as Pusha T and Gucci Gang and is written in small fonts.

He also asked them to “fix things quick please”.
He wrote: ‘I really appreciate you. But I don’t appreciate the way my name is written so small in your bill. I am an AFRICAN GIANT and will not be reduced to whatever that tiny writing means. Fix tings quick please.”
The post has since been deleted from his Instagram Stories.
