Bernardo Silva: We Must Build On Liverpool Win

Manchester City midfielder, Bernardo Silva says they need to build on their win against Liverpool or it will all be for nothing.

City welcomed Liverpool to the Etihad hoping to get all three points against the table topping side, goals from Aguero and Sane handed them a 2-1 win.

Guardiola’s men are now four points behind Liverpool, and hoping to cover up their losses in December and close up to Liverpool.

The Portuguese playmaker told reporters after starring in the win over Liverpool: “When you win against the team that is top of the league it means a lot.

“For the confidence it is always good to beat them. But it is just a game.

“If we lose the next one this doesn’t mean anything. Try to keep playing the same way as we have the last two games and try to not let happen what happened to us a few weeks back.”
