Stacey Dooley posts defiant photo with long-term beau Sam Tucknott

Stacey Dooley has hit back at reports her long-term boyfriend is 'insanely jealous' over her 'close' relationship with her Strictly Come Dancing partner Kevin Clifton by posting a defiant Instagram snap.

According to reports, the documentary-maker, 31, has been dating beau Sam Tucknott for three years, with him voicing his concerns about her starring on the BBC series and 'dancing with a single man'. 

But while sources claim Sam wasn't happy with Stacey's appearance on Strictly, as he feared it would take its toll on their relationship, the popular star has hit back at the speculation on social media.

Stacey shared a photo of her Sam snoozing next to each other on a plane with a fist emoji, hours after the reports emerged.

Insiders told The Sun on Wednesday night: 'Sam has been quite vocal about her dancing with a single man and was really paranoid that they were going to split because of the show.'

Stacey is partnered with Kevin Clifton, who was married to Karen Clifton - a fellow professional dancer on Strictly. 

Despite the breakdown of their three year marriage dominating headlines, Kevin and Karen appear to have remained 'amicable' and still star alongside each other on the show. 

But Kevin's new found single status allegedly hasn't sat well with Sam, with sources claiming to the paper:

'[Stacey] says he has become insanely jealous even though she insisted there was nothing for him to worry about.
