With barely less than two months to the 2019 general elections, popular Nigerian actress, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde, has called on Nigerians to avoid voting for young people without checking their records.
She also urged Nigerians not to be intimidated by politicians, adding that they shouldn’t vote for people because they feel they will win. Instead, vote for someone they believe in even though the person will get only two votes, because “we cannot continue to choose the lesser evil; we have to desist from that.”
The celebrated Nollywood star, who made this known while speaking with Sunday Punch, also insisted that Nigeria is now ready for a female president.

Omotola is dishing the admonishment barely weeks after iconic singer Tuface Idibia, also called 2Face or 2Baba told Nigerian youths to shun vote buying during the elections and avoid selling their future to leaders who had false agenda for the nation.
