Jeff Hendrick Signs New Contract Extension With Burnley

Burnley have secured the services of midfielder Jeff Hendrick for an additional 12 months.

Jeff Hendrick’s existing contract was due to expire at the end of the season, but Burnley have activated an option for an extra year.

“He’s done well for us,” Burnley boss Sean Dyche told the official club website.

“We have asked a lot of him. We have used him in a number of different positions that sometimes aren’t natural to him and over time he has delivered good performances for us.”

Hendrick, 26, joined the Clarets from Derby County two and a half years ago. He’s been a favourite of Dyche’s in that time, playing 29 Premier league games last term, helping the side to finish seventh and earn a place in the Europa League.

Hendrick has made 91 appearances in all competitions, scoring 5 goals and recording 3 assists.
