Inside Ben Fogle's incredible West London home

He's a renowned adventurer who has been known to explore more than 40 countries in a single year.

And Ben Fogle has certainly taken inspiration from his travels when designing the stunning West London property he shares with wife Marina and their two children; Ludo, nine, and Iona, seven.

Adventure lurks around every corner of their impressive five-story townhouse, with the decor largely influenced by the author's travels across the globe - especially in Ben's elaborately designed expedition room, complete with a swanky bar and a vast map of the world.

The writer has used solely upcycled furnishings to create the ultimate man cave, with shabby chic white shutters lining a wood-paneled wall. He can concoct a drink or two on his very own bar that boasts a polished steel worktop and sits just below an array of hanging plants that offer a taste of the outdoors.

However, those lucky enough to be invited into the space might won't to bring a nose peg with them as Ben warned it can get a little smelly as he also keeps the boots from his travels on a rack in the room.

He quipped: 'I'm not weird. I promise... I just like to be organised and ready for all eventualities. The bar shares a room with the boot shelf. It can get a little whiffy #expeditionroom #boots #kit #adventure.'
