Popular Nollywood actress, Funke Akindele, has welcomed her first child with her musician husband, JJC Skillz (real name: Abdul Rasheed Bello) in the United States.
It is understood that the child was birthed at Los Angeles on Friday, December 21, 2018.
The Jenifa’s Diary actress also revealed this via her Insta-story.
She wrote, Thank you Lord, ‘oluwa e tobi (God is great)’. “Ati fi oruko titun pe mi.”
In another post, she wrote, ‘mo je oruko titun (I have been given a new name).
Her post has left her fans and followers thanking God on her behalf even as they storm their social media pages to share the good news.
The good news comes a few years after a Lagos-based pastor, Olagorioye Faleyimu, said that the Nollywood star may not have children of her own, and might end up with another broken home.
Despite the prophecy, Funke’s husband, JJC Skillz, reaffirmed his love and commitment to the Jenifa’s Diary star.
Meanwhile, Nigerians have since taken to Twitter to shower encomiums and congratulated the actress.
