#Debate2019: I Can’t Wait To Face Buhari — Atiku

The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, on Friday night said that he cannot wait for the 2019 presidential debate, shortly after watching the vice-presidential debate in Abuja.
Atiku made this moment after his running mate sparred with Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo at the debate organised by the Nigerian Elections Debate Group (NEDG) and the Broadcasting Organisations of Nigeria (BON).

I watched with pride as @PeterObi laid out our vision to get Nigeria working again. Can’t wait for the presidential debate.

The former VP also expressed satisfaction with the showing of his running mate.
“I watched with pride as Peter Obi laid out our vision to get Nigeria working again,” Mr Abubakar said on Twitter, adding that he cannot “wait for the presidential debate.”
While Mr Obi was widely lauded for demonstrating a good grasp of statistics, Mr Osinbajo received commendations for his ability to focus on what his government had done as against what the PDP did in its 16 years in power from 1999 to 2015.

Meanwhile, Atiku is expected to face President Muhammadu Buhari and other presidential candidates during the presidential debate scheduled for January 19.
