He faced scrutiny from fans after he shared a sponsored post during his holiday in Barbados on Instagram earlier this week. 

Yet Wayne Rooney, who has an estimated net worth of £122million, shirked his woes on Thursday night as he enjoyed a festive night out with his wife Coleen. 

The superstar couple cut a chic figure as they hit the town with pals, with the WAG showing off her toned legs in a tiny leopard print mini skirt.

Coleen looked stunning for her night on the town with her beloved husband as she glammed it up in the sky-high mini with a seasonal polo-neck. 

Adding a designer touch to the look, she sported a pair of Yves Saint Laurent sandals with four straps and a staggering heel to boost her height. 

Wayne meanwhile kept it casual in an all-black look as he headed into the eatery alongside a pal with his wife in hot pursuit. 

Shortly before the outing, Wayne faced further ridicule from his 13.4million followers on Thursday as he posted yet another advertisement. 

Soaking up the sun with Coleen in Mykonos, the footballer was slammed for promoting a 90 per cent discount with travel company Expedia, with many mocking Wayne given his wealth. 

In the snap, the couple beamed as they enjoyed a candlelit alfresco dinner near the beach.  

He wrote: 'Family time together is important to us, especially this time of year. One of the favourite holiday locations we like to visit is Mykonos. Dinners on the beach and their guided tours around the island are very special!...
