Cassper Nyovest’s “Sweet And Short“ Album Goes Platinum In 24 Hours

South African rapper, Refiloe Maele Phoolo, better known as Cassper Nyovest, appears very excited following his recent achievements, which see him filled up the Moses Mabhida Concert; performed at Global citizen festival and his new album ‘Sweet and Short’ went platinum in less than 24 hours after release.
The EP was released on the 30th of November.
Cassper took to his Instagram page to announce the great news.
He wrote: “Shut down 2 stadiums back to back and my new album ‘Sweet and Short’ went platinum in a day. I also released an amazing records titled ‘Timbuktu’ with Chris Martin and Stormzy.”

“This has been an amazing weekend for me. Blessings!!! God is good!! Now i just wanna chill out and swim!!!.” 
Not only did Cassper #FillUpMosesMabhida Stadium on Saturday, he also met Oprah Winfrey and thrilled fans at the Global Citizen Festival stage to an audience of over 70,000 people!
The platinum plaque was delivered to the rapper by the Recording Industry of South Africa (RISA).
Platinum in South Africa means it has over 30,000 sales.
