Robin Windsor has announced his retirement from being a professional dancer.
The Strictly Come Dancing stalwart revealed the shock news to Zoe Ball during Tuesday night's instalment of BBC spin-off show It Takes Two, leaving the television host stunned.
Zoe asked Robin, 39 - who is not performing in the current series of Strictly - why he has been away for so long.
'I've been on tour and I'm about to finish my farewell tour,' announced Robin.
Zoe, clearly shocked, let out an audible gasp, quizzing him: 'Your farewell tour?' to which the professional dancer confirmed: 'Yes, and retire.'
Not wanting to believe him, Zoe mused: 'Everyone always says that though and comes back later... which we love. When is your last show?'
Robin revealed that his final performance will take place in the West End on Sunday.
Zoe gushed: 'Oh my goodness me! It will be an amazing night. I'm coming and I'm having that jacket when you're finished with it.'
The ballroom champion's revelation came as he and the television presenter were discussing the remaining couples chances in the competition.
Robin has long been a Strictly fan favourite and has previously been partnered with EastEnders actress Patsy Kensit, Emmerdale actress Lisa Riley and Dragons' Den star Deborah Meaden.
