Dec Donnelly tenderly cradles baby daughter Isla as he and wife Ali jet to Australia

Declan Donnelly was every inch the proud dad carrying his baby daughter Isla on Thursday, as he and wife Ali jetted to Australia for the new series of I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here.

The 43-year-old TV presenter carried the two-month old wrapped in a pink blanket as he arrived at London's Heathrow airport for the lengthy flight, as he prepares to resume hosting the show with stand-in partner Holly Willoughby.

It comes after Dec was seen leaving a meeting with presenter partner Ant McPartlin on Tuesday, with sources saying they were holding 'crisis talks' about their future TV commitments.

Dec couldn't hide his smile as he prepared to finally jet Down Under for the long-awaited new series, carrying little Isla wrapped in a pink and grey blanket and a matching hat.

The Saturday Night Takeaway front-man was casual in all-black, while wife of three years Ali teamed jeans with a green khaki jacket and jeans

The couple were seen pulling their luggage out of the car before heading into the airport terminal, ready for the lengthy flight ahead of the ITV show's return.

The outing comes as Dec prepares to once again take on hosting duties for I'm A Celebrity for its 18th series, though the lineup is yet to be confirmed.

Among the names rumoured to heading into the jungle this year are Love Island's Alexandra Cane, football manager Harry Redknapp and presenter Nick Knowles.

After Ant confirmed in August that he would be taking a break from presenting duties for the rest of 2018, This Morning presenter Holly Willoughby was revealed to be his replacement.

His long-awaited Australian voyage comes after Dec was seen leaving a meeting with Ant in Chiswick on Tuesday, with sources saying the pair were holding 'crisis talks' about their TV comeback.
