Susanna Reid told Good Morning Britain viewers on Wednesday that she lost a stone in eight weeks after her doctor told her she had a 'top heavy' BMI.
Speaking about losing weight, the 47-year-old said: 'It was a combination of factors, but a doctor said I was at the top end of my BMI.
'He said it might benefit me if I lost a little weight.'

Co-host Piers Morgan said Susanna seemed happier than ever and she said her shrinking frame has made her feel good within herself.
While it's fantastic that Susanna has embraced a healthier lifestyle, it's fair to say that she has never appeared to be overweight.
