Roxanne Pallett WALKS OUT of the Celebrity Big Brother house and 'won't get £75,000 fee'

Roxanne Pallett has left the Celebrity Big Brother house after accusing Ryan Thomas of punching her - leaving a question mark over whether she will get her £75,000 fee.

The former Emmerdale star, 35, departed early this morning just a day after she broke down in tears and accused the ex-Corrie actor of being physically abusive.

She was the highest paid contestant on the Channel 5 show. It is not clear if she will be forced to hand the money back after her dramatic exit.

The Apprentice winner Ricky Martin was among the Twitter users she should donate her astronomical fee to charity.

In a statement released today, Channel 5 said: 'Roxanne decided to leave the CBB house late last night after deliberating for two days with some sensitive issues she felt strongly about.

'She has now been reunited with her fiancé and family and thanks everyone for their support during her time in the show.'

Housemates have been told about Pallett's departure, which came less than 24 hours after she dodged eviction. Ben Jardine was voted out.

Pallett claimed on the show that Thomas had intentionally tried to hurt her, labelling him a 'woman beater'.

Footage from Thursday night's episode shows him throwing mock boxing jabs at the actress and radio presenter.

She walked off chuckling, but later looked upset and asked Big Brother to get her a producer for an off-screen chat about the incident.

The actress demanded that her fellow soap star be kicked off the programme.

Thomas was summoned to the diary room and given a warning for his behaviour.

He later spoke to Pallett and the pair shook hands, apparently drawing a line under the controversy.
