Pornhub Eyes Kanye West For Tomorrow’s Awards
There are strong indications that Kanye West has been “in talks” to serve as creative director of the first Pornhub Awards on Thursday, September 6, 2018.
A source exclusively told Page Six that organizers are “in talks” with Kanye West regarding him being the creative director of the ceremony, which will be hosted by adult-movie star, Asa Akira.
According to the publication’s sources, there is a legitimate possibility that Kanye will play a part in the festivities.
“There are some insane negotiations going on,” said their source, following the artist’s comments on Jimmy Kimmel Live last month.
Last month in an interview on “Jimmy Kimmel Live,”West was asked if having daughters had changed his views about women, and the rapper replied, “Nah, I still look at Pornhub.”
The “Gold Digger” rapper even divulged his favorite categories on the site, and when Kimmel told him it wasn’t necessary to come that clean, West said, “I mean, what’s the point of being Kanye West if you can’t?”
“Black is my favorite category,” he said, adding, “[I watch] a lot of black on white, obviously. [It mirrors] my own reality.”
After the interview with Kimmel was published online, Pornhub gifted West a free lifetime premium membership, plus he was even reportedly offered complete creative control to direct a scene in an adult film.
