They became first time parents on Saturday, welcoming baby daughter Isla Elizabeth Anne into the world.

And Declan Donnelly and his wife Ali Astall couldn't hide their delight as they left hospital on Thursday morning, bringing their little girl home for the very first time.

The proud dad, 42, was carrying the new addition in a car seat, grinning from ear-to-ear as he savoured every second of the special moment.

The TV host beamed with delight, a look of pure joy in his eyes as he brought the tiny tot home.

Talent manager Ali looked equally overjoyed, flashing a huge smile as she joined her husband on the threshold.

The new mother looked impossibly radiant as she made her first appearance since the birth, donning a casual hoodie and leggings.

Little Isla was bundled up in a pale pink blanket for her all-important journey.  

Dec was spotted for the first time since the birth earlier this week, giving a thumbs up to fatherhood.

The star looked overjoyed as he arrived at the couple's west London home on Monday afternoon.

Beaming as he waved to the cameras, the I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! host looked every inch the proud parent as he made his way inside.
