Amanda Holden and Holly Willoughby lead the celebrities marking their kids' first day back at school

They are successful television presenters and devoted mothers. 

And Amanda Holden and Holly Willoughby led the proud celebrity parents marking their children's first day back at school this week.

Britain's Got Talent judge Amanda, 47, posted a beautiful black and white shot of her daughters Alexa, 12 and Hollie, six, in their school uniforms.

She captioned the shot: '#backtoschool gonna miss my girls.'

Next up was Holly Willoughby, 37, who posted a snap of her entrance hall laden with school bags and shoes writing: 'Hands up if your front door looks like this...'

Katie Price's estranged husband Kieran Hayler, 31, was every inch the proud father  as he posted a photo of the couple's two children Jett, five, and Bunny, four, in school uniform.

He wrote: 'Back to school!!!! So proud of my 2 gorgeous children, both brave and looking forward to their school year. Bunny’s first day and so proud of jett being there to support her as she went into her classroom. 

'Not going to lie I was close to tears as I am sure many parents will be as they send their little one in for the first day of school.'

Katie, 40, is currently holidaying in Mallorca with her new toyboy beau Alex Adderson, 25.

Jeff Brazier, 39, waved his son Freddie, 14, off to school with a sharp new haircut, with the devoted dad sharing a beautiful photo of his son.  He also shares son Bobby, 15, with the late Jade Goody.
