The season finale of Bodyguard left fans wondering if she could still make a return in her role as Home Secretary Julia Montague.
Yet the gripping political thriller seemed to be far from Keeley Hawes' mind as she filmed episodes for The Durrells in Corfu on Monday.
Joined by her co-star Yorgos Karamihos, the 42-year-old actress couldn't look further away from her stoic role in the just-wrapped BBC thriller as she collapsed in giggles on the set.
Dressed in 1930s attire, the actress looked wonderful in a baby pink button down dress that complemented her tanned complexion.
The star paired her period look with a pair of white heels, while layering up in a coat that exact shade of her vintage gown.
She also donned a floppy straw hat with floral applique, her locks were coiffed into a style typical of the era, set perfectly in elegant waves, while adding a vibrant slick of red lipstick.
Keeley plays a widowed mother who moves her children to the Greek island in BBC comedy series The Durrells, which is currently filming its fourth season.
The BAFTA-nominated actress recently admitted that she and the cast of The Durrells are now recognised by Corfu's residents after filming three series on the island.
Speaking of the stir filming has caused to locals, she said: 'People are always very pleased to see us.
'And now the series has been going for a few years, when people see the production trucks, they know exactly what it is. There's lots of shouts of, "Oh Mrs Durrell, Mrs Durrell!"
