Will Meghan win an EMMY?

Meghan could be in the running for an Emmy - after being put forward for an award for her final season of the legal drama.

The former actress, 36, could be nominated in the Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series category, for her role as Rachel Zane.

A representative for the USA Network has confirmed that the Duchess of Sussex has been put forward for consideration in the category.

Meghan has not previously won any major awards for her role in Suits, meaning this will be her last chance to pick up a prestigious gong.

However, she faces major competition in her category, including last year's winner Ann Dowd, who stars in The Handmaid's Tale, and Chrissy Metz from This Is Us.

Other Suits cast members including Patrick J. Adams, Gabriel Macht, Rick Hoffman, Sarah Rafferty and Gina Torres - who all attended the royal wedding in May - have also been put forward for Emmys.

According to Entertainment Today, actress Parisa Fitz-Henley, who stars as Meghan in the Lifetime drama Harry & Meghan: A Royal Romance has also been put forward for an award.

Meghan fans were left in tears after her final appearance in the legal drama, which saw her character Rachel finally tie the knot with Mike, played by Patrick J. Adams.
