Shia LaBeouf looks unrecognisable as he transforms into his own father

He's playing a version of his own father for his new biopic.

And Shia LaBeouf looked unrecognisable as he continued to film scenes for his new movie Honey Boy with singer FKA twigs in LA, California, on Wednesday. 

The actor, 32, transformed into his own father, Jeffrey - called James Lort in the movie, who's described as a 'law-breaking, alcohol-abusing' parent, for the movie debut.

Shia could be seen walking around set topless, with his prosthetic belly on full display, as he also sported a receding hairline with thick sideburns. 

The actor kept on his blue belted jeans, with beige boots, as he kept the logo t-shirt, which had a series of cartoon breasts on it, he had been wearing draped around his neck.

At another stage in the day, Shia was fully dressed in his 'father's costume' as he wore all the items of clothing together, layering them with a short-sleeved striped shirt and adding a pair of thin wired glasses.

Also joining him on set was singer FKA twigs, who's real name is Tahliah Debrett Barnett, with her involvement in the film not known yet. 

The Two Weeks hitmaker, 30, showed off her washboard abs in a tiny pink crop top and a pair of light blue velvet shorts.

She styled her brunette curls into a high ponytail, which showed off her gold hoops and sunglasses.
