Samuel Umtiti Admits He Would Like To Have Antoine Griezmann At Barcelona

Barcelona defender Samuel Umtiti has admitted it would be “fantastic” if Antoine Griezmann joined the club from Atletico Madrid.

Antoine Griezmann has been linked with a move to Barcelona in recent months, although the most recent report suggests that the striker will turn down a move to La Liga.


Fellow France international Umtiti has said that he is good friends with Griezmann, although the pair have never discussed their futures.

“I talk a lot with Griezmann but not about this topic. We talk about Playstation, food, everything, but not about this,” the centre-back told a press conference.

“He is a great player and could help any team in the world. If he wants to come here, it would be fantastic.”
