Kim Kardashian reveals Kanye West told her she had 'the worst style'

He famously cleared out her closet and gifted her with thousands of dollars worth of designer ensembles.

And now Kim Kardashian has revealed just how bad her husband Kanye West deemed her fashion sense, admitting he told her she had 'the worst style.'

Fashion fan Kanye, 41, famously made over Kim, 37, when they first started dating in 2012, and Kim has now revealed she had never heard of any of the designers whose garments Kanye filled her closet with. 

Speaking at the BoF West Summit at Westfield Century City in California the reality star confessed: 'I always thought I had really good style until I met my husband and he told me that I had the worst style.

'He was really nice about it and cleaned out my whole closet. I probably had 250 pairs of shoes and when we were done cleaning it out, I had two pairs left and I cried.'

She went onto explain that Kanye arranged for her now empty closet to be filled with designer items while the couple were out.

'We went to the Laker game and my closet was filled back up with all new stuff. There were racks of clothes of designers I have never heard of before like Lanvin and Givenchy. I didn't know that then. I kept everything because it was really sentimental to me,' she said. 

'I wanted to learn. I wasn't offended when he said that. When he did that he wanted to teach me.'

Kim famously worked for Paris Hilton before finding fame on Keeping Up With The Kardashians, working as the socialite's closet organiser and assistant, and now she counts some of the world's top designers as her confidants.
