June 30, is the date each year, which marks the end of many players’ contracts and Arsenal Football Club have taken advantage of it to confirm the list of players who will be leaving the club since their contacts have come to an end.
The list includes club stalwarts such as midfielders Jack Wilshere, Santi Cazorla, and defender Per Mertesacker and nine other players.
The German is staying at the club as the academy manager but Wilshere and Cazorla will be moving on, the latter looking to resurrect his career after a long injury-enforced absence, the club said via its official website.
