Victoria Beckham has insisted it was an 'honour' to attend the Royal Wedding this weekend, despite being accused of pouting throughout.
The 44-year-old fashion designer discussed Meghan Markle's dress choice and Prince Harry's 'genuinely lovely' new wife as she shared her thoughts on an 'incredible wedding' at length for the first time since the Windsor Castle ceremony.
Dismissing her own nerves on the day, Victoria insisted that it was 'such a relief' not to be a pregnant guest, seven years after attending the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's nuptials with a big bump.
Victoria told The Evening Standard: 'It was such a beautiful, incredible wedding. It was just the best day. They looked so happy, and everybody was just so happy for them. Meghan seems like a genuinely lovely woman, who really loves him.'
Asked if she felt nervous, Victoria added: 'I wasn't nervous, no. I was just really honoured to have been invited. I would have been nervous if it had been my day.'
Victoria was heavily pregnant with Harper Seven when she attended the wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton in 2011.
At the time, she wore a very similar navy blue dress and pillar box hat therefore disappointing fashion critics when she wore the same shade this weekend.
Nevertheless, Victoria simply said it was 'such a relief' to choose whatever she wanted to wear without a baby bump to cover.
'I love a bit of navy,' she explained. 'The dress is one of my favourites: it isn't in store until November, but we've had so many inquiries about it that I'm seeing whether I can bring it forward.'
Victoria represented her own brand in a calf-length dress from her pre-spring/summer 2019 collection, paired with orange heels.
