Michelle Keegan prepares to head home to her husband Mark Wright after he admitted their long-distance marriage can be 'annoying'

Michelle Keegan prepared to head back home to Essex on Thursday after her husband admitted their long-distance marriage can be 'annoying.'

The 30-year-old was pictured wheeling along a giant suitcase as she headed to Manchester Piccadilly train station after a trip to see family and friends.

She looked great, wearing a white T-shirt under a black leather jacket and jeans, adding a pop of colour with a red bandana tied around her neck.

Wearing a practical pair of black flat mules, she carried a Gucci bag across her body and hid her eyes behind sunglasses, before heading to London.

On Sunday night, Michelle attended the BAFTAs, but Mark couldn't attend with her on the night as he had work commitments.

He is usually based in LA, where he is a co-host on Extra, but Mark is currently in London where he will be covering the Royal wedding on Saturday.

No doubt the pair, who try not to go more than three weeks without seeing one another, are thrilled to be getting to spend a little more time together.

On Wednesday, the former TOWIE star, 31, said he and Michelle are keen to prove the naysayers wrong, who believe a long-distance union can't work.

Michelle was in South Africa filming Our Girl for most of their three-year marriage, while Mark was in LA - and now Michelle flits from LA to the UK.

Mark said: 'We're back and forward all the time. I just come to see her for a weekend and try and make sure it's three weeks maximum that we don't see each other.
