Katy Perry performs seamless cartwheel into SPLITS onstage as she shows off her gymnastics background during Witness tour in Paris

She will put on shows in Zurich, Bologna, Vienna, Berlin and Copenhagen over the coming days.

But Katy Perry is not short on energy, as she proved on Tuesday night as she broke into a gymnastics routine on the stage in Paris during her Witness tour.

The musician was performing at the AccorHotels Arena in the French capital when she stunned audiences with a seamless cartwheel into splits combination.

Katy hinted at her school age dance training when she broke into a tricky sequence, holding her pink microphone in her crop trop.

The digitalised boob tube flashed up the title of her 2010 hit TGIF (Last Friday Night) in lights across her chest while she performed to the song.

Katy flexed her muscles and used her core to keep clean lines as she moved across the stage on just her hands, before landing with her legs in the splits.

The musician and talent competition judge previously had dance training in her teen years, learning disciplines like swing, Lindy Hop and jitterbug. 

And Katy's moves weren't the only thing turning heads on Tuesday night, because her collection of stage outfits were enough to keep the whole audience entertained. 

The Part Of Me hitmaker, 33, looked out of this world in her racy robot-inspired ensemble which reflected glimmers of the spotlight thanks to its metallic bodice.
