President Muhammadu Buhari has arrived Nasarawa State for his official state visit.
The President was received by the State Governor, Umaru Al-Makura at Lafia, the state capital.
Buhari’s arrival was disclosed by his Personal Assistant on New Media, Ahmad Bashir, via his Twitter handle, on Tuesday.
He wrote: “ President @MBuhari arrives Lafia, Nasarawa State for a day working visit. During the visit he will flag-off the Community Health Influencers, Promoters and Services (CHIPS), as well as commission some infrastructure projects in the State. #PMBinLafia.”
Recall that former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode, yesterday blasted the president over his planned visit to the state.
The Peoples Democratic Party chieftain had said the president was visiting the state so as to express his condolence to Miyetti Allah over the loss of their cattle.
