Strictly Come Dancing fans left stunned after 'grumpy' Len Goodman is rude to Tess Daly - Mirror

Strictly Come Dancing fans were not happy with Len Goodman tonight.

Just minutes into the programme after Judge Rinder took to the dance floor, the head judge was unnecessarily rude to presenter Tess Daly.

Once the star finished his routine, the host - as usual - asked the judging panel for their thoughts on his performance.

Turning to the famous four, she said "Did he impress you?"

Len then turned to face Tess looking seriously unimpressed and hit back: "I don't know what you said so I can't answer that."

Ever the professional, the presenter calmly repeated herself.

"Did he impress you, darling?" she asked again.

However, Len insisted he still couldn't understand what Tess was saying and so Craig Revel Horwood had to quietly explain.

After speaking to his co-judge, the show veteran then showered Judge Rinder with praise.

However, his awkward exchange with Tess did not go unnoticed by those tuning in at home - and they were quick to take to Twitter afterwards.

One wrote: "You rude b**tard, Len: "I don't know what you just said" to Tess #Strictly."

Another then added: "Len grumbling at Tess and it was his first sentence of the evening. Grumpy old a**e. #Strictly."
