GRAPHIC PHOTOS: Thief Caught & Tortured By Irate Mob in Benin City (Photos)

A burglar operating at the Upper Sakponba area of Benin City was subjected to intensive torture by an irate mob that tied his legs and hands to a stake as he was painfully suspended in the air with his face positioned downwards.

According to an eye witness, the culprit was suspected to have raided the area a month ago successfully by breaking into a house through the window. He allegedly carted away with valuables ranging from laptop, smartphone, jewelries amongst others.

He reportedly returned to break into other homes on the same street at around 4a.m when he was unfortunately nabbed, beaten to a pulp and suspended in the air.
He sustained several bruises as he was paraded unclad before being finally handed over to the police for subsequent prosecution.
