The Musical for first time since slamming 'breakdown' claims after being pulled offstage mid-show
She was accused of 'slurring' and 'stumbling' during her starring role in Ghost The Musical earlier this month, leaving her unable to finish a show.
But on Wednesday Sarah Harding looked happy and healthy as she was pictured for the first time since slamming claims she was on the 'edge of a breakdown' over negative reviews.
Grinning like a Cheshire cat, the former Girls Aloud singer, 34, looked on fine form as she headed to the Palace Theatre in Manchester for her latest performance.
Clearly feeling the chill, the blonde star opted for an oversized grey jumper and tight leggings with 'work-out' printed down one side.
A chunky black scarf was wrapped tight around her neck and fell forth while a stylish pom-pom beanie tamed her wavy tresses.
Juggling multiple bags, she wore a pair of cool shades while going make-up free.
Her excitement at returning to her roots was evident and she recently told the Manchester Evening News: 'I never thought in a million years I’d do a full on lead role in a musical, but anyone who knows me knows I like a challenge and I like to push myself above and beyond.'
And she also addressed the recent controversy surrounding her performance: 'I choose not to engage in the negativity because at the end of the day this is what we’re doing, this is what we love doing, if you want to come and see it, come and see it and see if we can prove you wrong.'
Sarah was forced to withdraw from her lead role as Molly halfway through the show at Blackpool's Winter Gardens earlier this month.
The star - who previously entered rehab for painkiller addiction in 2011 - was earlier alleged to be on the verge of a breakdown following poor reviews from critics in her starring turn in the musical.
A source told The Sun: 'Sarah’s on the brink — producers know it, everyone knows it.
'She’s back on the painkillers for her injury, but the worry is when she goes back to her hotel room and drinks alone.'
